About

His instrument of choice, the drums, has evolved over the years to reflect a versatile style, oscillating between the punch of rock and the elegance of funk. He has performed (and continues to do so!) on various stages in Belgium, France, and Germany, ranging from intimate venues to large concert halls.

Jean-Louis's musical journey began in his adolescence, deeply rooted in the family traditions of classical music; his mother, a passionate mezzo-soprano, passed on to him her love for Bach's timeless compositions, thus laying the foundation for his musical education. In his childhood, private concerts at home were his lullabies. Falling asleep under the piano, he absorbed the melodies that continue to shape his artistic sensitivity today.

He collaborates both on stage and in the studio with various bands and ensembles. Not just on drums, as he also plays keyboards and electric bass. In parallel, his passion for electronic music emerged, leading to the creation of Intermezzzi, a harmonious synthesis between the organic rhythms of the drums and the infinite possibilities of music composition software.

It is in the diversity of genres that he finds his most complete artistic expression. For him, music is a constant exploration, a fusion between classical and contemporary. His musical journey continues to evolve, with each note and each experience adding a new nuance to his personal symphony.
